MEMBERSHIP

We have a broad spectrum of members all with common interest in sailing and boating, embracing all of its diverse forms. Off the water, the club offers a range of social activities for all members, young and old – whatever their interests we have a programme of events throughout the year. Our on-shore facilities include club showers, private kitchen area, work shed and battery charging facilities. With access to the magnificent sheltered waters of the Cardigan Bay, whilst still enjoying the shelter and protection of a drying harbour make Shell Island Sail & Power Club a wonderful place to keep your boat. There are approximately 60 members of the club which include Yachtsmen (Cruising and Racing), Motor Boat users and social members. Feel free to drop by the harbour if you are in the area, SISPC benefits from having a clubhouse on the island, The Tavern where food and drink is available. Membership is charged at £40.00 for new members, £35.00 subsequent annual renewal fee – This includes a fob to 'members only' boaters shed and shower block. Social membership is charged at £10 annually.

To qualify for membership you are required to keep your boat at shell island. To enquire about storage and moorings please contact James hordley on 01341 241453 asking for camp shop.

Facilities

Through its members the club has worked hard to provide and maintain the facilities we have in place. We have club showers and toilets, kitchen with a freezer, microwave, kettle and washing facilities. The club has the use of a shed where you will find a range of tools, power including battery chargers to help boat owners with their boat maintenance.
