SHELL ISLAND

Shell Island is situated in the most northern reaches of Cardigan Bay and in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. With the Lleyn peninsula to the west, the Rhinogydd mountains to the East and Mount Snowdon Wales's tallest mountain to the north. You will struggle to find a more breath taking part of Wales.

Access to Shell Island by land is via a tidal causeway, so please check the tides when planning a visit.

Camping

Whilst Shell Island is famous for it beaches and sand dunes it is also one of the biggest campsites in Europe. Boat owners find this a huge benefit as not only does it offer the amenities of a campsite, it offers affordable accommodation for family and friends to enjoy when visiting.
